Oh my god. This is really getting on my nerves now. Yes. Rose/Doctor is beautiful. Yes most people treat them as OTPs. But for god’s sake. Could you please have the common decency not to throw you bloody ship all over another one. I see no-one making Gifs of River laughing at the Doctor/Rose… do you? No. Because most people are bloody courteous and don’t need to act like spoilt little kids who have their favourite toy stolen by someone else. 

Just. Play with your OTP as much as you like. Enjoy Rose/Doctor properly, because that is a beautiful, well crafted friendship or love story, depending on how you view it, just don’t go rubbing your ship all over another ship. It’s rude and leads to Ship wars. Which are nasty.

And this isn’t just a message to Rose/Doctor shippers. It’s to everyone. Respect your ships. Enjoy your ships. But also respect other people’s ships. Go look at the Sherlock fandom for instance, where everyone ships everything with anything else. Except Anderson. Fucking Anderson.
